Update

Well its a week later and we are still recovering from the swine flu. It seems like its taking forever to go away. And I'm SO tired of being in the house. But I'm thankful that everyone is on the road to being healthy again. If you didn't know after Kiersten got the swine flu I sent Kaitlyn to stay with my parents in hopes of her not getting it. Well I guess it allowed me to take really good care of Kiersten during that time cause she was pretty miserable. Saturday morning Kaitlyn and I both ended up getting symptoms. So I immediately called my Dr. and hers and got Tamiflu called in for us. So all three of us were sick and spent lots of time in bed together. Kaitlyn started getting worse. And it was really rough for me. I had the flu as well and I was having to stay up till like 3am cause she couldn't sleep. All I have to say is the Lord got me through it. I believe He gave me the grace and strength that I needed to get through that and take care of her. I ended up taking Kaitlyn to the Dr. and she also had an ear infection. She is fever free now, we all are. But we are not 100% better. Still coughing and feeling weak. So please continue to keep us in your prayers. Can't wait till this is all over!

SWINE FLU GO AWAY!!

On our way to the Dr.

So Kiersten caught the yucky bug!! I tried so hard for her not to get it. I was turning into a germ fanatic! I noticed that she started coughing a little and was wondering where in the world that came from. She hadn't acted sick or anything. Then the fever came on. Of course I brought her right to the Dr. first thing in the morning. They said that I should wait to get her tested for flu because sometimes when you test too early it will come back negative. So I brought her again this morning, they tested and sure enough it was positive. My poor baby!! She is doing good though although she does have her moments. But she is still playing and smiling. But we have had LOTS of I want my mommy cuddle time. Which brings me to ask you guys to pray hard for me!!! I really don't want to catch this. I'm taking LOTS of vitamins and Emergen-C. But I have to be there for my baby. Guess thats part of being a mom. I don't like seeing my kids sick. But I'm praying for a fast recovery in Jesus Name!!
As for Kaitlyn I brought her to my parents house the morning I brought Kiersten to the Dr. almost two days ago. She will be staying with my parents until this is all gone. I have to even make sure I don't have it. I DO NOT want her to get sick. But I am missing her like crazy!! I've never been away from her for more than a couple hours. So thins really stinks.
So we would really appreciate all the prayers. Thanks so much!!

This is how I hang out around the house! ;)

I told ya'll I would be updating with pics! :) The Church got Steven a new camera so he has been practicing on the girls with it. Here are some pics of Kaitlyn in her tutu I made her. If you can even see it under the feather boa.

Sweet Girls

I am so excited that I can buy them matching clothes now. Its so fun!

First there were 2, then 3, now 4

Wow how time flies! I have decided to start a new blog since I had such huge gaps in the old one. I am excited to update you on all the new things going on with our family. Things have definitely changed having two children now. We are so incredibly blessed with our girls. But WOW its a lot of work. I have to say that I am LOVING having girls. And they are loving each other.

Steven has recently started a new job which is an hour away from where we live. But its a really awesome job and I totally believe that God opened up this door for him. He just worked everything out. So I know that he will continue to do that for us. We are considering moving closer to his job but still have a home here. So we are waiting for now. But I know that the Lord will tell us when the time is right and He will work out all of the details even with our home.

I feel like I am working over time with these girls. They keep me busy! :) Kiersten is still in dance and loving it of course. I have also started home schooling her for right now. I got the abeka curriculum and its really awesome. She is doing the 4 year old curriculum because she was ready for it. She is learning phonics and writing. She is doing such a great job. We are actually taking it slow only doing two days a week. They said that if we finished this year then she would need to start kindergarden next year and we aren't ready for that. So we are stretching it out.

Kaitlyn is getting so big. I can't believe how fast my girls are growing. She is already 7 months. She is sitting up and playing. But she is not into crawling. She doesn't like being on her stomach. Ever since she was born if I would try tummy time she would just scream. So we will see what happens. She is teething really bad right now. I feel sorry for her. I can see four on the top that are wanting to all come in. Hopefully they break through at different times. Other than that she's awesome. She loves her big sister!! And of course is learning from her especially how to scream. My house is SO LOUD! :) But thats girls for ya! I'll update more later with recent pics.
