Thanksgiving Fun

Well our thanksgiving holiday started out with our cousin Karli coming to stay with us. She was off for the week and wanted to come visit. So yes I had 4 girls in my house including myself. But the girls did great and had lots of fun. It was so funny for me to watch the girls play. Because Karli acts just like her mom when she was younger and I see a lot of myself in Kiersten. I was cracking up. Crazy how are kids are so much like us.
Thanksgiving day we spent at my parents new house. My grandparents were able to come which was very exciting. They haven't really been up for doing much lately. And they really love seeing the kids. We pretty much ate all day and just relaxed at the house and watched movies that night. Beautiful day and beautiful weather. The only downer is that we caught a yucky cold from my nephew. No fun! So now I'm just trying to get over that so I can start my christmas shopping. Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!

FOL Pageant

So my mom and I got asked to judge the Festival of Lights/ Miss Lake Jackson Pageant this year. She judged the teens and I judged the miss division. It was pretty fun for us to go back there. It was almost 15 years ago that we went there for the first time for me to compete. Can't believe how long ago it was. The same director is there that I was able to work with and train under. Some familiar faces but not too many. I must be getting old or something. HA! But it was fun to get out and get dressed up. But man the whole time I was gone I kept thinking I miss my babies. When I finally get to go out and do something they are ALL I think about. Funny how that happens. I love my girls to pieces!

Trick Or Treat

Here are the girls in their costumes. Kiersten is Tinker bell and Kaitlyn is a fairy.

Fall Festival

My parents and I took the girls to a fall festival / trunk or treat. Kiersten had fun meeting all of the princesses but was scared of many of the other characters. After fun, pictures, eating, & moonwalk Kiersten was able to get some candy. I dressed her up as Fancy Nancy. She was SOOOOO cute! And everyone knew who she was. Which made me excited. And Kaitlyn wore Kierstens butterfly costume.

Pumpkin Time

So I know I've been slacking. I really wanted to do better this time at keeping my blog up to date. We have just been so super busy. Here are some pics of the girls from the pumpkin patch.
